Advocacy for Inclusion (AFI) is aware of recent media coverage concerning a former employee of AFI. AFI is cooperating fully with the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and supporting their enquiries.

AFI takes this matter very seriously and recognises the concern it may cause within our community. An internal review is underway in accordance with our established procedures, to ensure the matter is handled promptly, fairly, and with appropriate care for all involved.

To protect the integrity of the investigation and the privacy of those involved, AFI is unable to comment further at this stage. A further public update may be provided when it is appropriate to do so.
