As the Federal Government introduces its NDIS Amendment Act into the Federal Parliament we today release a joint Statement of Expectations for the proposed system of Foundational Supports recommended by the NDIS review. We warn against a return to old lottery of support by diagnosis and a capped and rationed system. We also express concerns about some of the Federal changes and their swift introduction without an adequate co-design process with the disability community
